Breathe deeply…

Before the last of the beautiful autumn leaves fall from the trees and the chill in the air nips at your nose, take a moment to breathe in the Fall air.  Take a walk outside under the trees, take off your headphones and turn off your cell phone.  Stand still for a moment. Hear the rustle in the leaves. Take a full deep breath, filling your lungs with air, and then slowly exhale through your nose.  Repeat. Feels amazing, right?  Taking a moment out of your day to “stop and smell the roses”, so to speak, can help you keep calm and carry on for the remainder of your crazy day. (Believe it or not, this type of breathing is not only good for your state of mind, it also speeds up your metabolism!)
