I made a smoothie this morning that tasted like Very Berry Oatmeal from Kathy’s downtown Flushing. Ah, memories! It was frozen mixed berries, almond milk, coconut milk, a dash of agave syrup, 1T oat brand, 2T ground flax seeds and a cup of beet greens (I know, random) but they are better for you than the beet it’s self. It was so good. By the way, did you know that berries are a super food that are great for your brain function?
